Granite Tile
Granite tile is most commonly used as flooring and wall cladding in commercial settings; however, recent building trends in the private sector have shown that granite tile is becoming a leading choice in the private sector too. Granite is an exceptionally strong natural stone that resists damage caused by wearing and staining. This makes granite tile an excellent choice for both indoor and out use. The natural characteristics of granite tile allows the builder a fantastic choice of color and texture selections. Granite tile is available in sizes of 12″ x 12″, 18″ x 18″ and 24″ x 24″ sizes. Color selection can be more limited in larger sized tiles. The tile thickness increases as the size of the granite tile increases. The typical thickness of a 12″ x 12″ tile is 3/8″, 18″ x 18″ are 1/2″ and 24″ x 24″ are 5/8″.
We always have a large selection of granite tile in stock. Stock granite tile comes with a polished finish as well as other finishes such as the honed finish and flamed finish. Honed and flamed finishes have limited availability but the polished finish is available in many colors and textures.
