Duties: Promote and implement improvements in stone-fabrication, engineering and service operations. Lead the development of models, database, and spreadsheets to analyze data and provide expert analysis and metrics for consultation to customers. Develop optimal process designs of utilization of facilities, equipment, materials and personnel to improve efficiency of operations. Analyze stonework samples to develop standards for labor utilization. Determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow by analyzing production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules and prepare cost estimates for proposed projects. Recommend methods of maximizing the utilization of production facilities and personnel by restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating workstations and equipments.


Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or any related engineering field plus five (5) years of progressive process engineering, industrial engineering, commercial management or related experience, creating flow diagrams; evaluating test and production data; and process designing, equipment selection, and specification development in the stone fabrication industry.
