About Jura Beige

Jura Beige is a 160 million year old multi-layered quarry with over two dozen layers, varying in characteristics and usage suitability.  The density is among the highest range of limestones, making it an excellent material for high traffic commercial areas and exterior cladding, in addition to the more standard uses of limestone. The finishes available are considerable: Honed, Polished, Sandblasted, Brushed, Sandblasted & Brushed, Bushhammered, Rippled, Striated, Rockface, Splitface and Tooth Chiseled. This material has been used for many prestigious projects worldwide from the Berlin Airport, to the Al Hamra Tower in Kuwait, Nina Tower in Hong Kong and the Royal Bank of Scotland, Edinburgh, to name only a few.
