Limestone is well known for it’s subtle elegance, soft colors and smooth texture. Limestone slabs are commonly used to make vanity tops, console tops, dining tables, bar tops and more. As a countertop, limestone generally does better in lower traffic areas. Limestone is not usually recommended for kitchen countertops. Not all limestone slabs have the same characteristics, so it is important to ask if your desired material is appropriate for your project. If a stronger countertop is needed, then consider a granite countertop. Limestone slab colors range from pale green to light grey and from stark whites to golden yellows. There are also many options to match your limestone slabs to our selection of limestone tiles. Limestone comes in various levels of hardness; those that are harder can be durable.
Please note our inventory of limestone slabs does change daily. Cut to size and other custom options are available in all of our materials for the building, design and architecture trades.
